The Center for Initial Screening and Assessment (CISA) works closely with the Family Welcome Center to provide initial screenings and assessments for newly registered New Bedford Public School students:
ESI3 Early Screening Inventory (Preschool and Kindergarten)
English Language Proficiency Assessments (Grades PK-12)
SLIFE (Students with Limited or Interrupted Formal Education) Assessments
Results are reviewed with families as one of the first steps we all take together to ensure all students are successful in school!
